Worth the time and money!!!!
Captain Fred, Maggie and Elena took great care to make sure we had an amazing experience. Captain Fred spends the whole tour sharing his vast knowledge of the Valdez area and Alaska. He ensures that your family will have a great experience, to the point of following a pod of juvenile humpbacks while they hunted and fed. The sight of those whales surfacing in their circle was amazing!!! We were able to see it 4 times! Columbia Glacier is beautiful, and the timeline that Captain Fred adds to the experience helps make the view even more enjoyable. The food on the boat was excellent as well, and not too pricey, unlike the rest of the town. Thank you so much!!!!

Highly recommended! Small entertaining boat trip.
Highly recommend a trip with Captain Fred! He shared stories and facts and seemed to enjoy entertaining us. We were lucky to have a beautiful day and see orca, humpback, puffins otters, sealions and seals. It is a smaller boat there were about 40 people with plenty of space for viewing from the different decks. The Captain skilfully maneuvered the boat into a cave and through the sea ice to about half a mile from the carving glazier. The baked brownies smelt lovely but sadly were not gluten free. We took our own lunch.
