Wonderful
This is a wonderful museum. Housed in one of the remaining original building, this two-story museum is definitely a work of love. The first floor is a great collection of artifacts from the area's beginnings. The second floor is dedicated to the great mushers of the Iditarod. The two women on staff were great and really enjoyed telling the tale of the Last Great Race on Earth. It was a joy to see.

Museum for the Iditarod
This is the museum building which houses all things Iditarod. For those of us who are not native Alaskans, it provides a wealth of education about the Iditarod itself and why it such a phenomena for Alaskans.
