On a clear day a nice spot to take a picture
Nice lake in the middle of Doggie-ville USA. From the hill near the hardware store in Willow north you will begin to get some good views of Denali. The best ones seem to be in winter with the sun in the south and the sky is free from dust & pollen.

Kashwitna Lake, Milepost 76.4 on the Parks Highway, Willow Area, Alaska.
When I am driving from Fairbanks, Alaska down to Anchorage, Alaska, a 360-mile, 8 - 9 hour drive on the two lane Parks Highway, I like to take more than a few rest-stops en route. Kashwitna Lake is a very do-able rest stop on the North side of the Willow Area. The rest stop is very basic with no frills (read no restroom facilities), but it is a very quiet and relaxing place to take-a-break from the highway.
