Big payoff from a short visit
I visited Jeff Smith's Parlor Museum which is a part of the Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park in Skagway during my cruise stop in Skagway. The Parlor Museum is located in an unassuming building a short distance from the Park Visitor Center. Entrance to the museum is in a group assembled at the museum as visitors gather, and a Park Ranger allows the group into the museum with a certain time allowance. The whole experience can be completed in about thirty minutes. The museum is quite interesting once we are inside. The historical authentic exhibits of the gold rush times are pretty impressive. The parlor is quite real looking though it is pretty small. If you are interested in history, do not miss visiting Jeff Smith's Parlor Museum if you are in Skagway. It is a place of 'Short time with big payoff'.
