Brooks Falls. Must see if you’re into bears at all. One and a half hour float plane ride in four or five hours with the Bears and one and a half hour float plane ride back. It was amazing watching the Bears catch the spawning salmon

Interesting vibe in a beautiful setting!
Fun area to visit though be prepared to walk as parking may be limited at times. Tourist destination so be wary of prices but there is a variety of options from art, clothing, gifts, sightseeing tours and multiple eateries. The boardwalk setting makes it unique and very scenic, though it may be chilly since winds are right off the bay.

    Touristy but fun!
We stayed on the Homer Spit during our three nights in Homer and enjoyed it thoroughly. We enjoyed walking the beach, checking out all the little shops and galleries, and wildlife watching. We barely went into the actual town of Homer, and would highly recommend for anyone planning a trip to the Kenai Peninsula!
