Long Ride but Spectacular

It was a long ride out to Holgate glacier but worth the trip. We were dropped off for kayaking and it was a fabulous day. The views are spectacular. We saw harbor seals in the vicinity along with all the birds. The glacier thunders and eventually calved while we were there. Nice place to get out and stretch. Surprise glacier is next door and also beautiful.

    Spectacular
Went close to the glacier and lingered about ten minutes enough time to enjoy the site and the waters around it. Other glaciers on the sides, nice commentary was informative but not overwhelming. All part of fjords tour. Great day!!

    Awesome glacier
We visited Holgate glacier from the Kenai fjord cruise. We got within probably 300 yards. From a distance we could see the ice fields in the water from the calving glacier. Harbor seals could be seen floating on the larger chunks of ice.
