This was breathtaking, the place is so quaint.
I was not sure what to expect when we boarded the boat to Halibut Cove. First the staff on the boat were so knowledgeable about the wild life there. They were so friendly and helpful. They took us to a spot for bird and wild life watching on our way. It was spectacular seeing thousands of birds. Then we pulled into the cove, it was a scene from a movie. So beautiful and different from anywhere I had been. We pulled up to the dock, and were greeted by a very friendly staff at the Saltry. The food was so delicious, and the prices were so reasonable for Alaska. The service was amazing. Then we continued on the boardwalk, which is the only way to walk around. We visited the art galleries. Beautiful work by the local artists. We visited the coffee shop too. It was such an experience. It was topped off by Eagles flying around us.
