Best fishing Charter service on the Island
This was such a fun adventure! David is very professional and super fun! We started early, 6:30am, so we got to the best fishing spots first. We limited out quickly, both salmon and halibut and then went on to catch cod as well. The weather was amazing, birds flying overhead, whales breaching and fish jumping...all set to some great music to really set the tone! I would highly recommend Fish and Chips Charters, you won’t be disappointed! Thanks Captain Dave

Best fishing charter I have ever been on!
Came to Kodiak on a trip with my teenage son. Capn Dave was great from the start! Answered all my questions about the where, when, why, and how without hesitation. On the night before the charter we called to confirm and he said we would be leaving early due to tides. Got to the dock at 4:45 and we were away at 5am. Entire trip was perfectly executed by Capn Dave and first mate Brad, both of whom are from Kodiak and have been fishing their entire lives. Their experience paid off in a big way. Everyone on board the boat limited out on king salmon and halibut! And then we all limited out again on rockfish!! 6 people caught 250lbs of fish in a little over 4 hours!! I have been on many charter trips in my life and have never seen this level of professional aptitude and efficiency. And on top of that both the capn and first mate were having fun and joking with all on board. I am truly grateful for the day of fishing they provided us and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone seeking a once in a lifetime fishing trip!!

Sea otters and a whale in the calm before the storm
We arrived in Kodiak the Friday before a big weekend storm and hoped to catch some views of the island and wildlife before the weather set in. Captain Dave and Kathy were incredible hosts. They shifted their schedule to take us out that same night. It was drizzling, but they provided cozy blankets for the viewing deck on the roof of the boat (an awesome feature and not something offered by all charters). When it got chilly we ducked into the heated cabin for coffee and hot cocoa and Kodiak stories. We saw tons of sea otters, sea lions, and birds, and a whale even snuck up on us in the rain. Highly recommend.
