AUTHENTIC FRONTIER SALOON
Simply one of the best saloon experiences of my life. The music was jumping, the people were dancing (from all walks/ages of life) and the staff worked double-time to serve the thirsty crowd with the most wonderful smiles. Another evening at the Fairview was spent simply listening in that old-saloon way. The staff and townspeople of this very special hamlet deserve an immense amount respect for sharing their community with us. Thank You Fairview Inn and entire town of Talkeetna.

Interesting Local Bar
Great little bar in Talkeetna. Located in a historic building but typical local bar in a rural area. I frequent a rural area in Wisconsin and felt very similar to a bar in that small town. Bartender was very interactive as were the locals inside. If you haven't experienced a small town American bar, it is different than bars in a big city. Go in with an open mind and willingness to mix with the locals and you will have a great time. Prices very reasonable and decent beer selection.
