Lots of Whales!
We went on a whale watching tour with Stephanie whilst visiting Prince of Wales Island. We saw several Whales and seals (but no bears :-). Stephanie was extremely knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Would recommend to anyone visiting POW Island.

Best part of Alaska
We heard of this tour through renneroaming.com. I was debating the private wale watching tour and I'm so glad we booked. Out of the huge itenary I had planned this was by far our favorite part of Alaska! I'm so grateful for our guide Stephanie. I was skeptical to be honest because I was like do I want to be on a boat with a stranger for that long? Answer is heck yes! I cannot say enough good things about this amazing human being. She is very knowledgeable on multiple subjects and her passion shows. We got extremely lucky and saw humpback whales (smelled whale breath eew!), orcas playing, sea otters, seals. We also had time to go this out of this world small trail only accessible by boat. Wow, it felt like another planet it was so gorgeous and green. If Im ever in POW again I would take this tour again in a heartbeat. My husband after seeing the orcas "I can die now" lol he is obsessed with nature docs. Tips: bring layers, sunscreen, sunglasses, and water and snacks. She does have a few binoculars on hand. If ur a crazy over preparer like me bring a floating waterproof cover for your phone for sweet pics.

Awesome Experience!
We were lucky to be in Craig, AK during whalefest (2019) when the herring were spawning and humpbacks were everywhere. We asked some locals how best to go view the whales, and got multiple recommendations to contact Stephanie at Emerald Island Adventures. We were not disappointed - what an awesome experience! We got to see a couple humpbacks up close, which was amazing. But there was so much wildlife! We saw dozens of bald eagles, swarms of other birds, several sea otters, and hundreds of seals and sea lions. The only other place in the world I've seen such density of wildlife is in the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. Getting to do this outing with Stephanie was truly the highlight of our time in Craig. Besides the epic wildlife viewing, Stephanie was very personable and took great care of us. She brought snacks and drinks onboard for us including an amazing salmon dip she made herself. Just awesome.
