Nice Walk
This is a cool spot to take a walk. I was here on a Saturday morning in November and it wasn't too crowded. The parking lot has a good number of spaces. On that end you're right by the airport so you can get some good views of the planes taking off overhead. The main spot offers a sculpture in memory of the earthquake that sank this area some 15 feet lower. There are placards around explaining what had happened here. It's interesting. But really the main draw here are the views. You get some great ones of Mt Susitna and downtown Anchorage. From there you can continue on to the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail which leads you along the coast and I didn't go all the way but I'm pretty sure you can take it into downtown. Nice place to visit.

Amazing stories about the Earthquake Park make it come alive
We saw the park as part of our Trolley tour. We did not get to enjoy walking or hiking and it was raining so we stayed in the trolley. The stories surrounding the park are incredible. Definitely on the tour list but the way we saw it was just right.
