    Awesome walk in the woods
Went by myself and enjoyed the peace and quiet the woods offered in a diverse terrain. The path is mostly flat and easy but watch for roots here and there. The path crosses the river with mountain vistas and traverses through dense woods of varying species. Trails are well marked but I am glad I had my phone on me for GPS on where the car was parked as I did get turned around on which path to take home. The ride to this location was also beautiful and stopped along the way to check out the river up close.

Excelent place to hike in the summer or winter
If you are visiting Alaska and want to take in the natural beauty Eagle River Nature center is an excellent place to hike. The hikes are easy and even little children can do it. You stand a chance to see Moose, Fish, Bear and meet other Alaskans. Parking is limited and their is a small fee to park but the money goes back in to supporting the visitors center
