Great experience from start to finish!
We had an awesome time visiting the Dog Gone It Kennel. Caitlin picked us up at a local hotel in an old school bus that she drives and gave a narration all the way to the kennel about life in Alaska, history of their property, personal background, and about the sled dogs, and more. After arriving you will meet Mike and their son and hold PUPPIES! Mike gives a sled dog demonstration and Caitlin gives a presentation, very professional with video monitors under a shade structure. Then we were moved inside for further information about the dogs and the Iditarod. Question and answer period follows. Full narration and story telling by Caitlin on the trip back. Caitlin was even so kind to drop us off at the entrance of Denali National Park where we were camped.

    Amazing dogs!
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at Mike and Caitlin's kennel. We were picked up at a convenient location and received an educational bus ride to the kennels, to be greeted by adorable puppies! Of course, holding the puppies was the highlight but watching the dogs take off pulling an atv was exciting. The dogs were even more excited! We also learned a lot about the whole Iditarod experience. It was fascinating and informative. And something I definitely never want to do! You can tell the dogs are well loved and get excellent care. What animal wouldn't love a massage after a hard day? We highly recommend this experience.
