Probably the Best Location to Get a View of Denali
This is one of the best places to view Denali. The location has an overlook area, ample parking, a toilet facilities. The stop is actually inside Denali State Park along the Parks Highway (Alaska 3), north of Talkeetna. As always when viewing mountains, clouds can hang over tall mountains and limit their visibility. Time of the day, brightness of the sun, weather, distance away, and mountain height can always impact what you see at a particular moment in time. It is said that timing is everything, hope for good timing and be prepared to be amazed.

Alaska Trip Complete
Last day in Alaska we were driving back to Anchorage along the Park Hwy. We had spent 3 wonderful days in the Denali National Park area, seen a multitude of wildlife including grizzlies, but my trip was not complete without seeing the mountain. We stopped at this scenic point with the hopes we would and it did not disappoint. As we were walking from the parking lot to the overlook there was the peak of Denali with clouds below. We didn't get to see the whole mountain but we did get to see the top. My trip was complete, I could go home!
