Perfect for stocking up for a road trip
We were grateful for this store as we needed water, granola bars etc before we set out for Denali NP. The checkout clerk was super friendly and fun to talk with. We went here twice as we first arrived in Talkeetna and when we departed for Denali.

IGA market 15 miles from Talkeetna
If you need more than a couple items for your stay you best stop here. Not many choices in this area That being said, Cubby’s has a pretty good selection and an attached small liquor store. Prices are very fair considering where you are and most patrons there are probably locals Nice people working there and very welcoming

Pretty much the only game in town.
If you want an actual grocery store on the way into Talkeetna or points north...this is it. Not that well stocked on some things, but has great fresh produce and deli. Could not buy lysol wipes, or disinfectant...and paper towels were only available by the 8 pack. Wine/liquor store not a lot of selection, but can get by with what was there.
