Fun and educational!

Jolene was absolutely amazing and took us on an engaging and educational afternoon where we got to learn a lot about different plants and trees, the pipeline, lakes, etc. The animal pelts at the end were incredible!

A great tour for fun and learning
The Copper River Discovery Tour was fantastic. Our guide, Diane, was excellent. She was impressively knowledgeable about not only the natural history of local animals and plants, but also with the history of the region (and state), and shared with us her experiences with the culture of interior Alaska. We had several pleasant wanderings through woods and learned much about the beautiful plants and flowers (and even tasted a few!). There were also several skulls and pelts on display at one of the sites to handle and appreciate. In short, we were very happy with the tour and would recommend it to anyone.

A Great Experience and Learned So Much
Our guide was so knowledgeable and friendly. In particular, I learned so much about the plants, trees, and animals of this region. When told we were going to spend time touching "skins and skulls" I thought, "Oh boy, how hokey." I WAS TOTALLY WRONG. It was spellbindingly interesting as she showed us skins and skulls of mammals, starting with the smallest (Ermine) to the largest (Brown Bear) and everything in between. I learned so much about each of these fascinating residents of the Alaska forest that I didn't know. A wonderful outing!
