The Bird Point Park
The Bird Point Park is part of Chugach State Park. It is a very wonderful rest area to take a break from Seward Highway. There is a nice walkway facing the Turnagain Arm. No matter which way you turn the scenery of this area is just breathtaking. Posters along the walkway help visitors to understand the area. That was a refreshing stop for us in last August sunny day. Happy Travelling!

Check out the views
Chugach State Park is on the doorstep of Anchorage and was a good start to our Alaskan vacation. We went to Glen Alps Trailhead which has plenty of parking for a $5 fee. We did the overview trail and part of the Flattop Trail. It was a good introduction to Anchorage and Alaska. Fine views in every direction.
