Sparkling Ocean Waters and Alaskan Marine Life

You arrive by boat, a good day's trip from Cordova. The wild life and natural phenomena you can see on your way is numerous; sea mammals seals and sea lions, whales, pelagic birds of all sorts. A sunny day is a must, preferably while the fish are not running because the creek at the head of the bay is heavily populated with bears feeding on salmon. There are a few people nearby at homesites but no commerce, stores etc. or other amenities of civilization outside of Cordova, This is wilderness and the best Cordova has to offer in Alaska experience. Be sure to obey laws of pack in-pack out and good sportsmanship. This place has a lot of history and there are century-old reminders of long past human presence and experience; fox farms, fisheries and even indigenous fish camps so be respectful of this old time and ancient history. Leave things as they are. Enjoy the things that are there, plants and wildflowers but respect them so others can enjoy them too.
