Bettles Visitor Center
"Ranger Rick" at the Bettles National Park visitor center was very friendly and helpful. We popped in several times during our short stay in town. The Visitor Center sells the best (only?) Gates of the Arctic surviniers we found. Also had passport stamps for both parks,. It also has a flush toilet which can be important walking around Bettles.

Cool NPS Visitor Center
The Gates of the Arctic NP Visitor Center has to be the most remote place I have ever had to get my Passport stamp. Airplane is the only way in. Very cool.

Convenient location
Given the remoteness of the Gates of the Arctic and Kobuk Valley National Parks, this visitor center was the perfect place to get those elusive park stamps. Very friendly, knowledgeable, helpful staff.
