    Interesting place
    A unique residential facility in Whittier, Alaska. 95% of the community lives in this multi-story building that, also, houses several businesses and other services. One interesting fact, there is an tunnel connecting the building to the school.

    Interesting Housing Complex
    Begich Towers is an interesting housing complex where 95% of the Whittier population lives in this one 14 story condo building. In addition to the residential units, the first floor has several businesses: a laundry mat, Post Office, condo association offices and more. One unique feature, there is a pedestrian tunnel linking the complex to the school so the kids do not have to “brave the weather” going to school.
