A must see in Skagway.
We stopped during our first visit to Skagway in 2016 and were so impressed with the photos we bought the #1 copy of the 60x40 image of "Backcountry Living" on metal. Unfortunately, the photographer, Barrett Hedges, was out that day, but his assistant handled the sale without problems. It was received in a couple of weeks. To ensure its proper displsy, I contacted Barrett to ask about what warmth or "color" of LED lights would bring out Its best. It hangs in our great room with special lighting. We were very pleased with the personalized attention we received. Last month, we revisited the town and finally got to meet Barrett. He recalled our earlier c correspondent and was pleased to finally meet the guys of the metal print. Now five of the edition of the are sold, but we are thrilled to have #1. If you visit the town, make sure you visit. The photos are museum quality and even if you don't buy anything, it will really add to your Alaska visit. If nothing ekse, get a business card...It has a small copy of our image.

Bring Alaska views home with you
Barrett's photos are amazing. I especially enjoyed the metal prints. It is like I have four windows into the Alaskan wilderness in my home now. That is how crisp, clear and beautiful they are! The hardest part was selecting which photos to buy. Purchase process was simple. Prints were shipped to my home a few weeks later. I recommend you check out BearHead Photography!
