Unique beach experience
The beach was nice to walk. If going be sure to bring layers and rain clothes though. A beach different than on the lower 48. Found lots of large sea animal bones. Definitely go for a swim! It’s invigorating!

The Arctic Ocean!
Many people can say they've been to the Atlantic or Pacific. Not so many can say they've been to (or in) the Arctic Ocean. What can I say about the experience? It's unique. You're only going to find a few communities in the US in which you can be here, and none of them are easy to reach. The beach was certainly different. I think it was 37 degrees outside and in the water. I didn't stay in it for very long. But, I can say I was at, and in the Arctic Ocean once in my lifetime.

Unique place to see
We visited both days during our stay in the northernmost town in the United States. Weather was about 49/50 degrees for a high temperature. Not bad considering the location. They had a record high temperature a few days after we left.
