Amazing Tour!
Great tour! Literally the only way to get to the Arctic Ocean via Prudhoe Bay. Just about everyone on the tour went into the ocean and all of our questions about the pipeline and ocean were answered. Our guide was just delightful and so caring. We were given certificates of completing the Arctic Challenge and they even brought towels for everyone! I definitely recommend this tour!

The only way you’re going to get to wade into the Arctic Ocean at Desdhorse; Our guide was excellent as well
This tour is the only reason a traveler would ever travel to Deadhorse. Most people up for one day stay overnight and head back. John, our guide, was great. He gave an excellent overview to the oil industry in the history of this area as well as some of the wildlife. It takes about 30 minutes from the meeting spot to get to the security gate that allows you to get to the shoreline. You must take the tour to get there. There’s a security checkpoint so people just can’t go solo. Our bus had a couple dozen people on it from all over. They also provide towels in case you want to go for a dip and even a certificate saying went for a swim in the Arctic Ocean. The bus stays at the site for about 30 minutes, but no one ever felt rushed. People on their own just migrated back to the bus when they have their time on the shore. I’m pretty sure everyone on our bus had this on their bucket list. For $69 it was well worth it

The only way to get to the Arctic Ocean
Access to the Arctic Ocean is restricted and the only way for 'ordinary' people to get there is to take this tour/shuttle. It's worth the cost because there's no other way to put your feet in the water. The guide was fairly new and still learning her way around. But that's not why we took the tour.
