Website says they are open, but they are not.
Hate to not give 5 stars to any place, but we tried to visit the yak ranch on a Thursday in mid-September (while they are open according to their website) and just found a closed sign up at the gate after driving 15 miles off the highway. We did try calling ahead about a half hour to arrange a tour, but just got the voicemail. No yak near the road at all (looked to be in other back pastures), so not even a photo op. Just hoping to save others the drive out since the ranch doesn’t look to be open for tours even though the website says they are.
