Good wet weather activity - Unique large tank for sea lions and seals
Good displays comparable to other aquariums. large marine mammal tank with steller sea lions was unusual. The outdoor seabird exhibit showed off birds from the area that I have seldom seen like tufted puffins. To accommodate the pandemic, the museum has routed everyone in a single direction. Some exhibits are closed because they involved touching and encouraged crowding. Everyone was wearing a mask as requested. A lot of the exhibits and the building itself is a bit threadbare and needs some updating and maintenance. The men's bathroom was poorly maintained. Great activity on a rainy day but more expensive than many similar exhibits.

A nice aquarium tyoe place featuring local wildlife
We visited the sea life center on one of our "down days" at Seward. I would recommend especially if you have a rainy day to spend in the area. Probably 2-3 hours worth of time is enough. They have a great setup to feature the local habitat and sea life that inhabits It supports the wildlife - so i cant knock it too much but be prepared for ~$30 for an adult day pass. Up close to see puffins and fish and sea lions and seals and salmon...plus many others
