Many diverse exhibits to enjoy
This museum has both indoor and outdoor exhibits. I saw the car President Harding used when he visited the territory in 1923. Outdoors, there are many different forms of transportation on display, some of which are in need of restoration or repairs. It's a nice place to spend an hour enjoying the diverse means of transportation used in Alaska.

Great
Went there last summer and loved it. Great place to learn the real history of Alaska, not the TV versions? This is the place. Such a variety of items and topics. Covers most of the history and development of Alaska. Recommend it highly

Lots of Interesting Old Stuff!
The outside section is not very well maintained but there is a lot of interesting equipment laying around. A fair amount of nostalgia. The railroad history is worth the admission fee. The inside exhibits are well done and represent local history very well. Some of the early attempts at snowmobiles were quite ingenious! We considered this a worthwhile investment of our admission fee.
