Trip of a life time

I've always wanted to go to Alaska and fish for Salmon. With very little research and some very good luck I landed upon the Alaska Drift Away Fishing web site. What I experienced with my son and my brother exceeded my expectations. Five nights in a great cabin and 4 days of great fishing. Kings, sockeye, halibut and rainbows. I never thought I'd see or certainly ever catch a 28 inch rainbow but Nick - our guide showed us the right technique in the right place at the right time. Jeremy put us on to Kings when conventional wisdom said they were not around any more! Over all great experience! Tips? Soldotna, Alaska is isolated but just about ANYTHING you need you can get a supermarket/ walmart kinda place called Fred Meyers not far from camp. This means you don't have to over pack.

    Great
Hey these guys know what they are doing!! We fished with Nick and Nigel and had a great time. We caught more rainbow trout that we could count with several over 25". Beth caught one that was over 30" and was estimated at 15 pounds. Silver Tip is great and so are the guides. Highly recommend these guys and look foward to fishing with them again.

A GREAT ALASKAN FISHING AND TOUR EXPERIENCE
Salmon fishing and sightseeing in Alaska have been on my wish list for many years. My wife and I have never been to Alaska, though our son has visited twice. The three of us just back from a very memorable trip. Pat of our adventure was staying 4 nights at Silvertip Lodge and Cabins. Jeremy and his wife, Andrea, own Silvertip and he is co-0wner of Alaska Drift Away Fishing. Our cabin was clean, comfortable and nicely stocked with many basic cooking amenities. Jeremy took us out for a day of fishing on the Kenai River. He was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable about the fishing habitat. We enjoyed a great day of catching salmon and enjoying the wonderful scenery. In planning this trip, we mentioned to Jeremy a few things we also wanted to do and he, through his referral contacts, arranged additional adventures for us (float plane fly-out, halibut fishing and wild life/glacier boat tour). These agencies and the guides we met were of the same high quality as Alaska Drift Away Fishing and Jeremy. We owe Jeremy many thanks for all he did to help make our Alaskan adventure a truly awesome and memorable trip. We are already planning for a return trip and will definitely stay with Jeremy. My wife, son and I highly recommend Silvertip Lodge/Cabins/Alaska Drift Away Fishing to anyone wanting a great fishing experience.
