6 million acres of natural habitat and animals!
The park bus was comfortable, the scenery just spectacular. What a day we had! Beautiful weather and we saw Mt. McKinley/Denali Mountain in all her glory (only 30% of travelers do, we were told, due to cloud cover and weather). We also saw 11 bears, most fattening up on berries, a recent bear kill site, squirrels (one in a foxes mouth), eagles, moose, caribou, and even caught a glimpse of a lynx. But it was the pristine beauty of the park that was the draw, as well as all the history about the park shared by our driver. A truly magnificent, awe inspiring part of our country. Take a day lunch (our fun and knowledgeable driver brought a case of water).

Cross section of Alaska
Alaska Denali Tours set up an excellent tour that gave us the Alaska experience in a week. We hit Seward Anchorage and Denali. White water rafting, ATV tour, Glacer tour, and two days in the Denali park interior. Beautiful country. Call Alaska Denali tours, ask for Jeanette. PS take the train and go Gold Star.
