Amazing glacier tour
This was our second trip with Brady out to the Knik Glacier and it did not disappoint! We began our day with a little bit of sunshine that later became liquid sunshine. Brady was an amazing guide that adjusted our tour based upon the changing weather conditions; however, even with the rain, he never lost his enthusiasm. In fact, he actually became more enthusiastic with the rain!! The glacier was massive and the views were epic. I highly recommend this trip.

What a dream activity for our group. So close to Anchorage, and could not have been better!
We had a group of 10 in town, and booked the 4 hour ATV / UTV tour with Alaska Backcountry Adventures. We couldn't be any happier with the way it went!! The folks that checked us in were so positive, knowledgeable and patient, our guide Haley (not sure on the spelling) was a super guide! So confident, charming, and fun. We even had someone get stuck on a creek crossing and Haley handled it all like a pro. We had 2 ATVs and 2 four seaters, and were able to switch around drivers a few times. The trail was a HOOT! Not like driving down a gravel road, this trail was for real! Lots of ruts and huge puddles to pound through, it was so fun! Great scenery, great fun, I can't recommend any higher. 10 out of 10 for sure!!

Highly Recommend!!
This tour was incredible and one of the highlights of our vacation. Doug was our tour guide and he did an incredible job leading us into the back country, splashing through mud puddles, crossing rivers and pointing out signs of wildlife such as wolf and moose tracks, and keeping us safe in the UTVs. He even jumped into the lake with those daring enough to do the glacial plunge! All staff were friendly and efficient. Me and my boyfriend couldn't stop talking about this adventure. Highly highly highly recommend this small local company if you want some adventure and to see the gorgeous Knik Glacier and Alaska Backcountry. Dress in layers because it can get cold but you probably won't mind too much because the sights are breathtaking and those machines are FUN to drive.
