Alaska Arts Southeast, Alaska, United States

5.0 (1 review) Spent < 1 hour Ranking #24 in Sitka History Museums

Beautiful, historic place, and superb arts programs

Since 1878, the Historic Sheldon Jackson Campus operated as a school for thousands of students, first as an Alaska Native boarding school and later a college. It is the birthplace of the Alaskan Native Brotherhood and Sisterhood. Now home to the lauded Sitka Fine Arts Camp, the campus is a site of great importance to Alaskan history.
