    Beautiful falls
We visited specifically to see Kinlock Falls. It did not disappoint! The falls are beautiful and easy to find if you have the coordinates. The climb to and around the falls is not easy, but that limits the number of people able to get there, which I like. I plan to go again and take my nieces and nephews.

    Kinlock Falls- Terrific swimming
Kinlock Falls is a favorite among the locals. I have visited this waterfall many times in the last 20 years. At the top of the falls is a great rock to picnic on with the family. The falls are flat at top. The first small drop is what I call the jacuzzi as it goes to my waist and jacuzzi size. The second small drop has one area that goes down over my head but only one person can swim in at a time. The large drop is often used as a slide as it goes down smoothly (take a float to sit on) The bottom pool is terrific for swimming and has several areas that are plenty deep. Terrific place to spend a day. Do not attempt to go on after heavy rains as it can be dangerous. Directions: Take Lawrence County 6 (Cranal Road)/Winston County 60 to Kinlock Rd. Take a right on Kinlock Rd, this will turn into a gravel/dirt road. Kinlock Falls is located right before the bridge crossing
