    Good/interesting, a little long.
My boyfriend and I went to the planetarium looking for something different to do on a rainy Sunday. $6.50 a person for admission. You can tell the presentation is geared toward education (different than IMAX entertainment, for example). I have seen better planetarium shows but the woman in charge was very knowledgable and we enjoyed learning about meteors in our dome show (FireFall). Once the show ended, she took us on a "tour of the night sky" and showed us all the different constellations you can view in Montgomery. Nice to do something a little out of the ordinary.

    Newly renovated but...
Well let's start off by saying we had a good time but we thought it ran a little long. The show started at 2pm and we left at 3:20pm. First off, it has been completely renovated. Brand new seats and a new projector. The first part of the show was a movie shown on the projector called " From Earth to the Universe". Then the other half we spent talking about the night sky in our area. This part we thought was a little too long. Informative but a little too long talking about Astrology. If you have young children they may start getting fidgety. Mine are 10 and 12 and 10 min into talking about the night sky and I could hear the heavy sighs. My wife and I starting yawning 15 min into it. But that's us so... The building is in a public park across from the hospital. Parking is around the park. Try not to get there at the last minute give yourself some time. Montgomery has long traffic lights. If they just talked about the night sky and how to find planets and stars and not focused on the history of Astrology, we would of given another star. To be fair, the group was only about 15 people. Maybe if there were more people, it would of been different. All in all not great but not bad.
