Definitely a "Must See" in Huntsville
Wow, what a treat. This museum is a massive collection of military memorabilia including many jeeps, tanks, helicopters, etc. most of which are in working condition. The veteran volunteer docents were a wealth of knowledge and greatly added to the experience. Do not expect a slick Smithsonian type of museum. This museum is jam packed and bursting at the seems and allows you to get close to everything. Don't miss it if you are traveling to Huntsville.

    A worthwhile museum
This museum is packed with tanks, Jeeps, motorcycles, helicopters, uniforms, dioramas etc. The “Merci” boxcar was of interest and when you climb the stairs you can see a view of the floor of the museum. The diorama of the trenches from World War One was especially well done. You can spend several minutes just looking at the various scenes that are depicted. This museum is well worth the effort to visit those people interested in history and in military hardware.
