VFW Veterans Tournament
Played a 3 day tournament this week. The course was in good shape except for the bumpy greens. I know aerating is a necessity. I wish the tournament director would have coordinated with the course. The restaurant had a nice buffet breakfast each morning for a nominal price. Each morning before we teed off a High School Honor Guard presented Colors. All of us Veterans said the Pledge Of Allegiance. A very nice touch by the VFW Post 6020.

Great place to golf!
With 27 holes of golf plus a great clubhouse this place is an awesome deal. The course is kept in really great shape year round. The amount of wildlife in the course is equally interesting (turkey, deer, and squirrels). If you’re looking for somewhere to golf that is really nice and won’t break the bank then Silver Wings Golf Course is for you.

Snack Bar is a Must Visit for Lunch
Great Reubens and a very wide selection on the menu. You can get a variety of salads as well. Reasonably priced with a good serving size.
