Love this place

I go here often, I live just a couple of minutes from it. Very well done and really hits home. There are picnic tables and restrooms right behind the park. The detail of the bronze statue is amazing. We lost one of my high school classmates in Iraq - it was nice to see a brick there dedicated to him. They've recently updated the park, I need to go back.

Small Park - Big Impact, Just a couple of minutes off I-65
A very moving military memorial park; includes a bronze statue of a kneeling soldier with fallen friend's boots & rifle that has more detail, realism, and story than we've seen in major museums. You have to look for it a bit, but visible from highway - you'll probably notice the tank and helicopter first! Nice blend of a reverent monument very well-done and small collection of the vehicles that supported the campaigns for freedom.

    Nice Tribute
The memorial is in Priceville and on highway 67 (east of the I-65 exit). It has a touching tribute to local veterans and several pieces of old military equipment to look at. Several parades and ceremonies are held here every year. Anyone with military backgrounds or family military connections should visit here. I remember being here for the dedication several years ago and it is even more impressive now. Way to go Priceville!
