Military discount
I always love seeing museums, but the thing I found unique about Montgomery Art Museum was that most exhibits have a note card that explains what the artist was trying to convey through color, depth, contrast, etc. It really helped me think about and appreciate the pieces more. I also enjoyed the lake and sculpture garden. The lady at the desk was an absolute joy! She gave me recommendations on what to do while in town. I bought some postcards from the gift shop. Military discount.

Very nice museum
We visited during Covid, so all of the smaller galleries we closed, but what we were able to see was very nice. The fact that it is a free museum was also very nice. There are a variety of artworks here nicely displayed with good signage. We especially enjoyed the blown glass whe not a large collection on display it was impressive. We also spent a bit of time in the sculpture garden which had some interesting items. Spent about 1 1/2 hours here.
