Wonderful Family Experience
The caverns are a historical part of the area and it was amazing this family has maintained such a wonderful piece of history for decades, sharing with the public in such a fun and exciting way. We purchased the all inclusive pass with a meal. We were disappointed that there was no entertainment available on the day we visited, yet it was part of our ticket price (i.e. forging, juggling, etc). However, the visit was a fun and unique experience for our whole family.

One of the most expensive cave tours I've experienced... and not worth what you pay to see!
The cavern is verybeautiful, but not as extensively large as many others that I have seen! One enormous main chamber with two separate trails that lead to smaller rooms, one with a sort of double waterfall, which seems like water pumped into the cave for show purposes. Nice, but short laser show, and it didn't illuminate the main chamber as much as I expected. The gift shop does not abound in as many souvenirs as a lot of other tourists' caves do, and the afmission price is way too steep for such a cave tour. I have seen it once but don't really recommend it as a must; there are many other cave systems open to the public which offer far more than DeSoto Caverns!
