Beautiful
Went for a family reunion and was surprised at how quiet and clean the reserve is. Plenty of pavilions and tables for groups, water activities including kayaking, canoeing, tubing and zip line. It is kept very clean and natural

Spent the Night
The property is owned by the Poarch Creek Indians. The place is beautiful. Many, many acres of wooded area, a lake, a river for tubing, zip lining, canoeing, and bicycling. It is a great place for families. The season hadn’t started yet so it was very quiet. It was so quiet that we had trouble going to sleep. Our camping site was a level dirt spot, with electric and water, no dump, no WiFi, and no cable; we could get over the air channels. The roads were very easy to negotiate. Washers and dryers are available for 75 cents each. Alcohol and firearms are not allowed. It’s a beautiful place and would be great for family reunions or groups. They allow fishing; I don’t fish so I know nothing about it. We only spent one night, however, we would stay again. Can’t beat the price of $25.00 a night.

#2 Thoughts and feelings after near three months stay at Magnolia Branch Wildlife Reserve
My wife, so impressed with this place, asked me to write a poem about it. I did so while fishing at one of the lakes as the sun went down, and as the moon came up. I also wrote it as a song. Perhaps, think of the tune:" My Ramblin Boy". This description refers especially to the experience of this campground, especially at sundown taking: in the moment of its magical change of day into night...the heavens above, and the lakes below: "Magnolia's Skies" Of river and stream, and flowing brook.... Of pine trees high. where birds do look..... Upon a land... whose peaceful sighs.... Before me lies... Magnolia's skies. Her placid lakes...her fields.......... adorn. Her kindly folks...bring me......... to mourn... That I must leave...these sandy shores... With only hope...to return once more. The sun now sets...the day is done. The air.... so fresh....my heart.... is one.. Such Beauty here.... I can't deny! The Wildwood call... of Mangolia's skies..... The Wildwood call............ of Magnorlia;s....... skies.
