    Cute Weekend Place
Lowe Mill is a collection of all types of art vendors. We were only going there to purchase the chocolate. However, there wasn't any direction of which door to go through so we went through a good portion of the building. From what I saw, they have a lot of pottery art shops, an arcade game shop, a dog training school, and a guitar shop. Even if you don't purchase anything, it's cool to look through the shops. We eventually found the chocolate shop and had a meal at The Veggie. It's a black-owned vegan eatery!

    So worth the visit!
As someone who loves old buildings, I really appreciated the idea behind this space. Loved how they used the old mill to create a space for the arts. The walls and floors showed their age and were beautiful. There were several ways to get inside from the ample parking areas. Numerous stairwells on the inside took you between floors. It is important to note that there are bats in the stairwells and the smell can be a bit...musty. Not a big deal for me. As for the studios housed inside I think it is an amazing idea and really appreciated the artists there. Even if I don’t care for a certain type of art I can still appreciate the creativity and work of the artist. Don’t expect all studios to be open when you are there. Just because the mill is open, artists can stick to their own schedules. Some are by appointment only. During uncertain pandemic times I can appreciate that. Still enjoyed looking in all the windows. Got to talk to a few artists which was nice and found a few small items to bring home. :) Overall I think this space is a must see. It is important though to remember what it is and adjust expectations accordingly. I wasn’t in the keast disappointed and could wander for hours. Loved every second.
