Beautiful grounds and building
Grab a coupon from the visitors’ center in town for 20% off. This garden is massive with many different areas. My favorite was the butterfly house. It was in the 90’s on the day we went, so I didn’t enjoy it as much as I would have liked. You can take food and drinks in and picnic and stroll at your leisure. The grounds are beautifully maintained. The cafe area is not in operation, but there are vending machines or you can order Chick Fil A and they deliver.

March Was Too Early To See Many Flowers, But the Trees Were in Bloom and Wildlife Was Enjoyable
We enjoyed walking the beautiful grounds;, unfortunately, we went too early in the season to see many flowers., but many trees were in bloom. We enjoyed seeing turtles sunning by the pond, a variety of bird species at bird feeders, and large fish in the ponds. We learned about medicinal plants in the herb garden. The children's area, complete with playground and oversized chairs and tables, was well done. The food service was closed due to COVID, but we were able to order food and have it delivered for lunch and eat at the indoor tables.
