Slow down, soak it up

We stopped on our way from Huntsville to Muscle Shoals. An idyllic village where there is not much to do except soak in serenity and simpler timers. When I go again, I will time it to take a tour or at least make sure the post office is open (currentLy 8-10 am). I’d love to learn more. Worth a short detour.

    Exit into history
Too many travelers whiz by Mooresville and never realize what they have missed. Take a few minutes to exit into history. In just a few minutes you can see a small Alabama village that will take you back. There is not really much to do in Mooresville but to ride through the quiet streets and lanes and just soak up the sights and to imagine what it was like 150 years ago. Its a really cool little place not to be missed for a few minutes' detour if you like history.

    Fabulous trip back in time
Mooresville is a very quaint historic community. Most of the buildings are private residences. It is very easy to feel like you have traveled back 100 years as you walk around the beautiful community which is sort of a hidden gem right off of the interstate.
