Another stop on the RTJ Trail
We are trying to get to all the courses. Flying in and out of Dothan was a breeze. We played Highland and Marshwood the first day and then Marshwood and Magnolia, followed by the short course and Highland again the next day. We play a LOT. Courses were in good shape, though it was cart path only the first day due to a major downpour earlier in the week,

Outstanding course
Outstanding golf course. Staff was friendly. Food was great. Course is well manicured especially for early in the season. Cart paths in good shape. 90 degree rule in place. We played Magnolia/Highlands. Many elevated greens. Challenging course. Not too friendly to high handicappers.

Another excellent RTJ golf course
Sixty of us played golf for two days. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to all of us. The course is fairly hilly, especially for those of us from flat-land areas. All of the hole are different with some requiring shots over water and/or waste areas. The Marshwood nine will be closed for renovations all summer long, including the implementation of new greens. Work has already started to repair some of the long wooden bridges on the course. I cannot imagine trying to walk any of the three nine hole courses. Overall, the course is definitely worth playing. You will not be disappointed with the layout.
