Hickory Dickory Park in Auburn, AL

Hickory Dickory Park is “a unique playground experience for children.” I was blessed enough to participate in building it with other volunteers and I have so many great memories of the experience. When my daughter was younger we spent many hours enjoying this absolutely fabulous playground. It was definitely a happy spot for us and we have so many great memories from this lovely park.

Outdoor Playground GREAT for younger kids!
Hickory Dickory Park is an Auburn City Park lovingly and interestingly designed for toddlers and young kids. It built like an extremely large fort and has an inventive color-scheme inspired by popular old-world nursery rhymes actually painted along its turrets. Children can romp, wind their way down a series of small labrynths and climb several levels in an exciting game of follow-the-leader. Our younger son LOVES this place and always enjoys making new friends each time we visit. Friendly neighborhood families and charming locals make this a fabulous afternoon out 'running' adventurous children til they drop! Want to discover a super-secret surprise here? Geocaching and picturesque lunch hide-aways lurk directly through the hedges to the right bordering the park. The entrance lies at the very front of the parking area behind a large rock. Keep going through the bushes and you'll find a gorgeous hidden stream and embankment you can jump over to and have a hidden afternoon in fairy-tale type splendor!

Not what is use to be
I was one of the volunteers building the Park and back then it was great...it is not totally run down but not kept as well as it could be. My granddaughter is no longer really excited to go there
