Beautiful Library in the Black Belt
Since 1922, the Demopolis Public Library’s mission has been to provide materials and services that meet the individual, educational, and professional needs of the community. We offer free WiFi, public computers and printers, books, DVD’s, eBooks, and programs. The library is housed in historic downtown Demopolis in a furniture store that was built in 1924 by the Ulmer family.

Great to see a small town that loves it's library
This is a lovely interior - not just like every other library. It was a nice, cool place on a very hot day, and I wish I could have stayed longer and taken advantage of their lovely interior and great reading areas.
