What happened to this place
We used to come to this park at least 3 times every summer to camp. We have noticed a decline in up keep the last 2 years but this last time was the worst. The bathrooms had not been cleaned in who knows how long. Spiders were so thick you couldn't even close the shower curtain. Once we got in the shower there wasn't a shower head. No toilet paper. That's just the men's bathroom. In the women's bathroom there was LITERAL feces spread on the stall knobs and doors. In addition to that, the lake water was so disgusting the kids didn't want to swim and the grass around the lake was so overgrown you couldn't stand at the edge to fish. As if that all isn't bad enough the management has other family living on the property setting off fireworks and generally being obnoxious. Needless to say, we cut this most recent trip short. I would not recommend this park under its current state or management.
