Labor Day
This was my first time here. The springs and grounds were clean. There was plenty of shade trees and lots of picnic tables. There is a little playground. They had a concession stand but it was closed. The kids had a ball. There was a ranger on site. Great, safe place to take the family.

What a park should be
The spring is amazing, 3600 gallons of water every hour and it flows down three areas. Peaceful and beautiful with a wonderful playground for children. They have pavilions to rent if needed and lots of great camping areas. Would love to come back and rent one of their campers on the ground. Support your local parks to keep them going.

A Rustic could be a gem
The springs are amazingly clear. The campground is primitive and reminds me of camping in the 60's. Sites are open with nothing defined and it takes getting out to decide just how to park your RV. Most sites are nowhere close to level and on bare earth or sparse grass that could be a mud bath in the rain. There are three big front end loaders, one brand new John Deer with no scratches on it so they have the equipment to define RV sites and make them level. A few have parking defined by timbers and graded wi coarse limestone, but even these are not level. Woods are pretty with lots of spruce pine and the river is right next to our site. Don't even think of bringing anything over 35 feet in here. I use "rustic" in the real estate way, meaning not maintained and needing lots of it.
