Worth a Visit

OK you could say I am a groupie since I’ve been to the real Stonehenge in England, and I’ve also been to FoamHenge in Virginia. It’s only logical that I would come here too. It’s a great place to go for a walk. Although it’s kind of off the beaten track from any place. Plenty of areas to park and you just start walking. You’ll see almost full-size dinosaurs partially hidden in the woods. I guess we missed the big giant spider and the brontosaurus. I think everything‘s made out of fiberglass with a wood infrastructure. There is no cost and there really aren’t any directional signs. You’ll see a car parked on the side of the road and that’s where you know to go. It is a partial representation of Stonehedge. Nowhere near the size. But it’s free and it’s close and it’s great exercise so just do it.

if you like weird things you'll like this
Sometimes it's fun to stop and see the weird and they "huh" or they "why though?" when traveling. That is exactly what kind of stop you can expect at Bamahendge. You don't need to spend long here, but it's a fun place to go to take some pictures and stretch your legs. The kids absolutely loved it, and hey, it's free.

    Funky place to check out
This is kind of a goofy, off the beaten path thing to see if you're in the area. We went by one morning while visiting the area and stopped at both Bamahenge and the dinosaurs. Its unique for sure and a good time filler!
