Alabama Sports Hall of Fame and Museum, Alabama, United States

4.5 (58 reviews) Wednesday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Spent Ranking #26 in Birmingham Speciality Museums

Packed full of interesting and informative exhibits

Lance greeted us warmly and gave us some tips to start our exploration. There are three floors of exhibits which can be reached by stairs or an elevator. The exhibits are spaciously arranged, with lots of room for strollers, walkers, or wheel chairs. There something for everyone, from ice skating to football. Speaking of football, don’t bring up Auburn’s historic “kick six “ in the 2013 Iron Bowl…. Apparently Lance is ‘Bama fan…. LOL P.s. Lance was a very good sport after I brought it up!

    A Fun and Educational Visit
We visited the ASHOF while in Birmingham for the Birmingham Bowl. The staff were extremely friendly and took time to explain to make the best of the visit. Our visit was fun and very educational. I truly recommend a visit if you like sports. The museum is conveniently located near Protective Stadium and Uptown

    Lots of Fun
This is the best sports hall of fame I've been to (and I've been to many). Lots of interesting items and lots of different sports. This is the second time I've been as I enjoyed it so much the first time.
