Must visit place
Not many people get to visit this place which has a wide variety of Islamic ancient history laying in its closets. The supervisor is also an excellent gentleman who was very cordial and explanative. It helped us as we went with a group where the leader was an acquaintance of the supervisor.

Wonders
It was great visiting the Media Museum, they are so knowledgeable about historical happenings, and that they managed to save so much artefacts from the past is even more amazing

informative, yet dissappointing
the building is not a stand out one. the museum is located in the basement, the displays are dated and beg if you must, for english information. once the english language displays are turned on, you are transformed into a historical past with explanations of the famous graves of the companions in the cemetary Baqi. The schematics of the famous battles, the growth of the city of Madina, the homes of the wives of the Prophet Mohammed etc. then you are given a geological lesson on the types of rocks and landscape that makes up the city and the country. there is no mention of the future of the City of Madina, even though there is huge expansions in all directions. The dust on some of the displays makes you wonder if the dust itself is of any historical value as well. Nonetheless, it was quite informative, but it needs a major upgrade, especially when you know that the government is not short of funds.
