Perfect lake, terrible slobs ruining landscape
Stopped in at Shalkar Lake on our way to Kokshetau about a week ago. It is a fantastically clear lake with warm water and not bad shore area. Some camping areas along the lake and some people clearly trying to destroy nature with their littering and terrible habits. It’s not hard to clean up after yourself, put your garbage in a bag and haul it with you instead of pitching it into the bush or the water(!?!?!) Anyway it was a nice stop, be good to your natural areas or you will lose them.
